Description

The system includes energy production (red), feed production (green), the main chain of aquaculture production (blue), and the production of other inputs (purple). When using this data set for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), ensure that the geographical and methodological boundaries are defined as per the data collection regions of Ningde, which include Fuding city, Xiapu County, Fu'an city, and Jiaocheng district. Be aware that the assessed households were engaged specifically in sea-based cage aquaculture during the year 2016. This data set should be used with consideration of the particular feed type used (trash fish) and the production of energy, feed, and other inputs as segmented by color codes. Any system expansion or allocation procedures should also take into account the locale-specific practices and data from the sampled 292 households.

Technology

The cage seedling cultivation technology of large yellow croaker, the sea area is selected as small and medium wave area, the water depth at low tide is ≥8 m, the flow rate is smooth, the flow rate is less than 1.5 m/s, and the flow direction is smooth and stable. The sea area with high flow rate which can be controlled by technical measures can also be used as aquaculture area. Water quality should comply with the provisions of GB 11607, water temperature: 8 ℃ ~ 31 ℃; Salinity: 13 ~ 35. The area of a single cage is 16 m 2 ~ 100 m 2, and the net depth is 4.0m ~ 8.0m. Net mesh 3 mm ~ 15 mm, adjust the size according to the specifications of the fish, in order not to escape the fish as the principle. Only fresh and mixed fish ingredients are used for breeding feed.
