Description

The clinker from the cement kiln, mixed together with gypsum and other additives, is milled into fine particles of a particular size in the cement milling sub-system, which are a final product of cement. This phase consists entirely of physical processes; no chemical processes are involved. When using this dataset for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of cement produced with alternative constituents in a shaft kiln, note the specific conditions such as the percentage of alternative materials (21-35%) and the energy consumption characteristics of the production process.
