Over 90% of China's cement clinker was produced by applying dry rotary kiln technology in 2013 (China Cement Association, 2014). Therefore, only cement produced by applying dry rotary kiln technology was analyzed.In this enterprise, the flying ash generated from cement production process is recycled as one alternative material for cement production. Wastewater is also recycled for watering local gardens after primary treatment. When using this LCA dataset, note that it only accounts for the production phase of cement using dry rotary kiln technology and excludes the use and disposal phases. Ensure the inclusion of recycled materials such as fly ash in the analysis as it represents a key element of the ecological efficiency of this process. Data users should account for local recycling practices, and the potential environmental benefits of wastewater reuse. This dataset is representative of a major Chinese cement producer and should be contextualized when comparing with other regions or production technologies.
