Description

The new dry pre-decomposition cement production model is selected. This dataset can be used to model the environmental impact of portland pozzolana cement production using a life cycle assessment approach. Users should note that the dataset includes the production and transportation of raw materials, such as limestone, clay, iron powder, gypsum, and coal, as well as electricity production. It assumes an average transportation distance of 100 km for raw materials using 10-ton diesel trucks based on CLCD data. When considering auxiliary materials and industrial wastes, only their transportation and preparation processes are included. The environmental impact of producing these materials is not accounted for within the system boundary, as it is assumed to be the responsibility of the producer. Data users should pay attention to these boundaries and assumptions and adjust their impact assessments accordingly if they have more specific or additional data. Recycling or end-of-life considerations for cement are not included within the system boundary.

Technology

This article selects a pre-decomposition kiln-drying cement production model. The new dry pre-decomposition cement production technology is based on suspension preheating and pre-decomposition technology. It is a production technology that is more in line with environmental protection requirements and meets high productivity requirements, and has become the future development trend of China's cement industry. Therefore, the selection of new dry pre-decomposition cement production technology as cement model production technology has advanced and environmentally friendly requirements.
