The generator of the 1.5 MW wind turbine is designed for integration into wind energy conversion systems. Specifically, it is used in wind farms for the production of renewable electricity. The 1.5 MW capacity makes it suitable for large-scale energy production at wind farms, such as the one located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia, which features 33 domestic wind turbines. Users utilizing this LCA data should apply it for environmental impact assessments of 1.5 MW wind turbine generators within the context of renewable energy production. Attention must be paid to the data source, as parameters come from a case study specific to wind turbines located in Inner Mongolia. When modeling the use phase or considering substitution effects, local conditions and technological applicability, such as the regional wind profile and maintenance practices, must also be factored into analyses. The life cycle inventory includes the production of wind turbines, substations, and cables, and thus calculations should account for upstream energy consumption and pollutant emissions, cited from Xue et al. (2015).
