Description

The feed described in this paper is mainly energy feed, including: corn, wheat, soybean, sorghum, rice. In fact, in the process of livestock breeding, livestock feed is mainly composed of corn, wheat and soybeans. Feed crop planting stage mainly includes fertilizer production stage, corn, soybean, wheat planting stage. When utilizing this data set for life cycle assessment, it is important to consider the regional specificity of the data collected from farms and facilities in Shandong, Xinjiang, and other locations listed from 2014 to 2015. Users should take into account the relevance to their own assessment objectives, particularly with regard to the feed-to-meat conversion ratios, feed consumption, and energy usage for production processes. It is also advised to cross-reference with up-to-date agriculture and animal husbandry practices for accurate modeling and extrapolation.

Technology

In this paper, the life cycle of livestock and poultry farming is divided into six stages: feed crop planting, feed processing, livestock and poultry raising, manure treatment, slaughter and transportation. The specific life cycle process of livestock and poultry breeding is shown in Figure 2-1. Due to the lack of some data and the limitations of basic conditions, the production, transportation and use of pesticides, mulch and feed additives have not been analyzed, and the environmental impact caused by other related infrastructure construction, transport production and labor costs is no longer considered.
