After simple pre-treatment dismantling and discharging, the waste lithium ternary battery system is subjected to high-temperature melting, leaching and oxidizing, and high-temperature sintering to produce battery cathode materials again. The process is mainly the product of the fire recovery technology to further use wet purification, so that both the requirements of the reaction object is lower, but also can reduce the waste of metal elements. When using this dataset for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), users should ensure that the system boundary includes pre-treatment dismantling and discharging. The functional unit must be clearly defined as the recycling of a 1 kWh NCM battery weighing 0.81kg. Attention should be given to the quality of recovered materials and potential losses during recycling. Users need to consider the technological applicability of the recycled materials in their specific context and the environmental impacts associated with the recovery process, including energy consumption and emissions.
