The article is based on research data collected from farmers and utilizes the theory of agricultural carbon footprint and life cycle assessment to quantitatively study the size and composition of the carbon footprint of the rice-wheat rotation system in the downstream area of the Yangtze River. Additionally, it further analyzes the factors that influence the carbon footprint. Technology

LCA method is used to evaluate the agricultural system of seed corn production, which takes the whole process of product treatment from input to final output as the research object to conduct quantitative analysis and comparison, so as to evaluate the environmental impact of seed corn production [13]. In this paper, the mass of seed corn 1 t is used as the functional unit. The boundary of the system starts from the production of fertilizer and electricity, and ends from the output of agricultural products and pollutants in the crop planting process. In other words, there are two production systems, namely the agricultural material production system and the crop production system
