Based on the detailed interpretation of seismic data in the range of 6 × 104 km ~ 2 in the central and eastern Sichuan Basin, the regional distribution characteristics of the Middle and Lower Cambrian gypsum salt rocks in the eastern Sichuan Basin are revealed. Fault-related folds are developed above gypsum salt rocks, while 6-7 rows of NNE and NE-trending gentle anticlines are mainly distributed below gypsum salt rocks. Users of this dataset should apply it with caution, ensuring that the geological parameters and regional characteristics specific to the East Sichuan Basin are considered when modeling reservoir potentials and designing exploration strategies. It is crucial to take the regional geology, such as the fault-related folds and the layout of anticlines, into account when using the data. Additionally, the identified priority targets for exploration, namely the fourth member of the Dengying Formation followed by the Shilongdong Formation and the second member of the Dengying Formation, should guide the use of this data set in exploration endeavors.
