Location: CA-QC - Canada, Québec
This dataset represents activated sludge wastewater treatment. This dataset is a copy of the Global version and is used to approximate activated sludage and biofiltration technolgie in Quebec. This dataset should be replace as soon as data for these technologies in the Quebec region become available. Only the production volume have been modified and the sewer process have been removed as it is included in the market process. Wastewater purified in a medium size municipal wastewater treatment plant (capacity class 3), with an average capacity size of 24900 per-captia-equivalents PCE.

Undefined unit processes (UPRs) are the unlinked, multi-product activity datasets that form the basis for all of the system models available in the ecoinvent database. This is the way the datasets are obtained and entered into the database by the data providers. These activity datasets are useful for investigating the environmental impacts of a specific activity (gate-to-gate), without regard to its upstream or downstream impacts.
